Hi, my name is -. I am 12 years old and my birthday is in November. I am also one of the year 7s at LNPS this year. I am in LA20, and my teachers are Mr Wegner and Ms Martin. In my spare time I like to play wii, go on my laptop, play on my ds or have a great game of soccer.

One of my most memorable moments at LNPS was when I got elected as boy’s captain for orange for sports day this year. I also enjoyed book weeks at this school because I have dressed up as very random characters for most years. One of my favourite times was dressing as a Mexican.

My best friends at Lockleys north are Georgako, Pavlo, Samster and MFS11 who I always play with at recess and lunch.

The high school that I am going to is Nazareth Collage, although I would like to go to a different school with more of my friends, but I am sure I will make plenty of new ones at Nazareth!

My ambitions for the future are to be a professional boxer like Muhammad Ali or a computer technician and to have a partnership with my friend Paul who would like to be a graphics designer at pixar animations. Some day maybe we will have our own business.

My advice to you is to never give up and try your hardest in school, because there will definitely be more of a chance of you being wealthy, smart or famous by persisting towards your goal! My motto is to keep on trying.

In our class we saw videos  on YouTube about extreme fantasy sports,we then got given a mind map to think about a sport it had to be a sport combined of two or more sports together, and how to play the sport.After we had thought of are fantasy sport we went on wikipedia and typed in list of sports and got information about the two sports, about the one sport we have combined to get extra information such as rules team and when it originated for example.after that we had to type it up on word.We described the sports rules, equipment, and time.My sport was a combination of hackey sack, which was originally called foot bag.My other sport was basketball,my combined sport name is called hackey ball, I called it that because it involves both names hackey sack and basketball.thank you and would love to hear your fantasy sport.

I’m here to talk to you about why is the world coming to Adelaide,first because of wide range of languages learnt in school, such as Greek German and Chinese.

Secondly because of  Greek orthodox christian and catholic churches for example, beliefs, and cultural clubs such as Croatian Greek and Muslim.

thirdly because of food resources based on different cultures such as,Chinese, Greek, Indian, Italian and Mexican.

fourthly because of special celebrations such as Easter, Christmas,and Chinese new year for example,people also have different beliefs about these special events.

and finally because of fashion such as skirts dresses and sport tops such as soccer, NFL and hockey for example.But there’s also other cultural clothes such as western, Chinese, Greek and Ethiopian style clothing.

I just wanted to talk about my favourite basketball team which is Los Angeles lakers, I like them because they are a very good team, they have one of the best basketball players which is also my favourite Kobe Bryant.They have also had very successful basketball players play for them such as my other favourite magic Johnson one of the best point guards in NBA history, and many more.They have a nickname like many teams which is the lakers which is short for Los Angeles.They also made it into the playoffs this year which is very hard to do with also I think Orlando magic and Cleavland qualveleirs, I’m not sure who won the playoffs but I really hope the lakers one.I would like to hear your favourite sport.

On the 1st  of July La20 and La21 and I had started doing swimming at the Theberton aquatic center.I was in the third group with some of my friends.We did various strokes and activities and got taught what to do if something happens to you swimming at the Beach or if you get caught in a rip.My favourite swimming  activity was playing water polo.I think swimming is a great thing to know because, you can help not prevent something wrong happening while swimming, and also have fun!

This terms inquiry has been on the great Murray River, which is slowly disappearing.

Its dissappearing because of use of murray and climate change. la20, 21 and I went on a camp to Hindmarsh Island for our inquiry task, and learnt about the River murray and the Narrindjerri people.The Murray River starts at the Snowy Mountains and stretches over 3 states. It is the 16th largest river at 2,530 kilometers. It effects Farmers, shop owners in Goolwa and escpecilly the Narindjerri people. I think a possible solution is to:charge more for water use, which will slowly end our murray crisis!

In our class we are having interviews.But this time where hosting the interviews, we have to make a short presentation of how we have been going in class.Last Friday we had got are semester 1 report cards which parents can discuss anything they are unsure of or any questions about are reports.On the slide show that we are going to present it has to go for approximately 3 minutes with tasks, goals and class activities you have enjoyed so far.My interview is on a Wednesday, I am very nervous about it.

Leadership quote- “Good leaders must first become servants”.

I think this quote, “Good leaders must first become servants”, means that you first have to help people before they will respect  you as a leader. As you get to the top and become a great leader you would always be thinking of ways to help the people. You have to have the qualities of a leader,  like responsibility, confidence and persistence.

For example you could do things like give food to someone who has no food, or help them up when they fall!

People will follow a leader if they are true to their word and show that they are dependable.

On the 2nd of April 2009 we had sports day,

Me and NoNo were the two sports day captains for orange with dani16 and sin as the vice captains. My favourite events in sports day were, discus and tug-o-war I really liked discus because I am good at it an enjoy it, I really loved tug-o-war because we beat every team in it, even the teachers and adults it was really fun and enjoyable. Just after we did tug-o-war we did a tabloid race in that race I thought i went pretty good even though my foot was killing me i came 3rd out of 5th. After that race there was a 400m race I really wanted to go in that race but I went to put some ice on my foot. At the end of sports day M.r G which is our P.E teacher announced the winners, Yellow team had come last, Then Orange, Green and the winners were red. All the captains and vice captains had to prepare a victory speech but only the winning team would say there speech, The whole red team had looked so happy especially the captains and vice because it was there last year in primary school. I thought all the teams had tried there hardest. I cant wait till the next sports day in high school. I thought that was the best sports day because I was a captain!

In this book it teaches you about soccer as we call it in Australia and tactics that professoinals did when they were training, such as Kewell, Beckham, Viduka, Ronaldinho and Mia Hamm. It also tells you how to do great tricks such as the bycycle kick the rainbow and how to do a volly. This book will show you everything you will need to know to be a soccer super-star. I really like this book because I love soccer and it even has a few pictures in the book for people who like a few pictures. I also like this book because it shows Australia’s world cup history of soccer. For those how like soccer I this would recommend this for you, Im sure you will agree that this is a fantastic book!
